Vroomans Visit

The Vroomans were in town for a visit and we went to Crown Center and Kaleidoscope.

Tyler brought his new virtual reality headset for us to try out too.  It was a roller coaster ride that was pretty amazing.

Olive's birthday

Olive started her birthday by opening all the presents that Granny sent.  She really liked the wooden cupcakes on a stand.  She requested to stay in pjs all morning while Hannah was at school.

Her lunch request was McDonald's with a play place.

Then we went to Crown Center.  We toured the Hallmark visitor center for the first time.

They liked the bow making machine.

Then we went to Kaleidoscope right next door.  Olive loves art, so it was the perfect place for her.

The girls are wearing their birthday presents from Aunt Becky and Uncle Justin.  Becky made the the owl and horse designs and the girls colored the rest with fabric markers.

We also went to the fairy tale exhibit at Crown Center. The girls loved identifying all the stories even though the exhibit wasn't as interactive as others.

Longview Lake

Marissa and Casey are moving back to Omaha.  More friends moving away!  Sniff, sniff.  Marissa quit her job and then their move got pushed back...and so we get to go on lots of Aunt Marissa adventures this summer!  We've taken Marissa to Deanna Rose and  Kaleidoscope for the first time.  And now Longview Lake beach!

Kaleidoscope and Crown Center

Our first time at Kaleidoscope and we brought Aunt Marissa and Grandma along for the fun.  Kaleidoscope is a free place where you can use Hallmark's leftover materials to make art. The girls were in heaven.  Luckily you get a ticket for a one hour session or else we would be there all day.

Olive knows how to cut now and she is very serious about it.

While we were at Crown Center we also ate at Fritz's and checked out the newest kid display: Super Kids Save the World.  Her faces crack me up.
