Zoo

Granny and Papa gave us a zoo membership for Christmas.  We were excited to try it out on a beautiful morning in March.  We've never been to the zoo in winter, although it didn't really feel like it- 60 degrees and no coats.  It got windy just as we were leaving, which made for an extra fun tram ride.  We also rode the Sky Safari for the first time.  It is very high and with just a bar in front of our seat, I was a little nervous.  Fearless Hannah scooted to the edge of the seat and asked me to please stop holding on to her!  We can't wait to go again!

Walker

Olive started walking the last weekend in February.  It has taken awhile to get a video where Hannah didn't stand in front of the camera.  I waited until she went to the bathroom...and she still makes an appearance at the end!

I (along with parent volunteers) make bread from scratch with my students.  I don't usually make ANYTHING from scratch at home, so I thought it would be fun to do with Hannah.  *Note the outfit she picked out herself.

Yes, she still thinks sitting in the Bumbo is fun.  We actually put it away in the guest room, but she found it and brought it downstairs.

Union Station

We've been potty training Hannah with a sticker chart.  When she fills up the chart, she gets to choose a fun activity.  This time she picked Union Station.  I love living in a city where we can do something like that on a random day after work.  I don't think I could ever move back to a small town again.  It was a really fun night- and warm, too!  We crossed the bridge just as a train was coming by, and there was no one else at the train exhibit so the girls got to run around.

Penelope Alice

We got to meet Ollie's new baby sister!  Sweet little Penelope was less than a week old and Hannah was very excited to hold her.  Olive poked at her.  She was more excited to make her debut on the trampoline.  She loved being bounced by the older kids.

Hannah requested I take her picture in the blue chair, too. She wanted me to make her a "2" sign since she is two. I said maybe she could hold up two fingers instead. It didn't quite work...
