Sisters

I love these girls more than words can say.  I'm so happy that we have them, and also happy that they have each other.  Sisters are the best.

Crown Center

My favorite Christmas tradition: Crown Center.  We went on a warm Friday night.  The kids only needed jackets and there weren't many people there.  We had dinner at Fritz's and then played in Crayola Land inside Crown Center.  It was always too busy before.  This was Olive's first year to really run around and climb on stuff.  The girls loved every minute of it.

This could have been our Christmas card, but someone did NOT want to be on top of the fire truck for a picture.

Baby Gwendolyn and Ainslyn's 5th Birthday

The girls have a new cousin!!  We went to Jeff City to see Baby Gwendolyn and celebrate Ainslyn's 5th birthday.  I remember meeting baby Ainslyn for the first time.  Five years goes by fast!

Putting up the Tree

Hannah couldn't wait to put up the Christmas tree.  We debated on getting a real one, but decided we would do one more year with our old fake tree.  Putting it up took several nights because of lack of time and also some lack of motivation (everyone except Hannah).  The little tree in front is Hannah's.  More pictures to come..

Thanksgiving 2012

For the first time in a long time, we spent Thanksgiving Day at our house.  We moved the TV up the family room to watch the parade.  It was a great day just cuddling with the girls and playing outside in the great weather.  Steve fixed up an old motorcycle and took the girls on a ride around the backyard.

Then after naps we went to Marissa and Casey's house for dinner.  We played at park by their house.  The girls also tried to play with Jules the Cat, but she hid from them.

Then Marissa, Casey, and I went to our first ever Black Friday Sale (on Thursday night).  It was fun, but I would have liked some more running and screaming.  I was underwhelmed.  This was the line (around the corner) at Target.
Then on Friday we went to Chillicothe to see all the relatives.  We got around to all the great-grandparents and even a great-great uncle.  The girls loved the bubble bath at Grandma an Grandpa's house.

Olive's best buddy is Grandpa.  He taught her how to do an exploding fist bump.

Olive loves her necklaces.

Pure Olive.

Hannah can't wait to get on the trampoline at Grandma and Grandpa's.  Now Olive wants in on the fun, too.

Justin's new puppy- Ezekiel Hezekiah Jebediah "the Snake" Meneely.  Or at least that's what I think he should be named.

Tallest tower ever.

And just because I like to make myself sad that kids grow up way too fast....
