Crown Center

It's Crown Center time again!  My favorite Christmas tradition with the girls.  We went on a Monday night so it was not busy at all.  And it was was 40ish degrees outside.  Perfect.

We started off inside in Crayola Land.

We ate at Fritz's and then checked out the gingerbread village

Then outside to see the Mayor's Christmas Tree.

Emerald City Gymnastics

We went to open gym time at Emerald City Gymnastics.  The playtime is for kids 5 and under for an hour each day.  There were lots of fun things to do like a rope swing into a foam pit, trampolines, rock climbing wall, and zipline.  Olive was a bit too little (or maybe just too timid) for a lot of the activities, but Hannah had a blast.  Olive loved the the big 3-person swing.

Union Station with Walter

The train display was closed at Union Station because they were getting it ready for the lighting ceremony.  Luckily, there were lots of kids activities so we still had fun.  We saw a 3D printer for the first time.

And made wax molds

And this is why we can never get any good family pictures

Turkey Fry

Our annual Turkey Fry got expanded to include non-runners this year.  Oh, and it was also a Mexican themed.  I'm still not sure why.  We had a big group of people (including 11 kiddos with Hannah being the oldest).  We played lots of games.  Rose brought dress-up clothes for the girls.  And it was the best turkey we've ever had.  Thank you, Walter.

Painting with Emily

Emily took me painting for my birthday (although we didn't get it scheduled until November).  It was our first time and we didn't know what we were doing AT ALL, but it was fun!  Next time we are hoping for an easier painting.
