Easter

 My family came to our house for Easter, although Hannah thought it was to celebrate Steve coming back from Colorado.  We did our usual egg hunt in the backyard and then scavenger hunt to find Easter baskets.  And there was lots of playing outside in the great weather!

Hannah won the special Easter coloring contest at Price Chopper.  The prize was a basket full of goodies!

Steve in Colorado

While I was being a single mom, Steve was in Colorado for a week.  He went hiking and biking with Walter.  He spent a couple of days in the Denver office, then he met up with the Baileys and Borthwicks on their ski vacation.

Girl Week

Steve was gone for a full week to Colorado (part for work, part for fun), so we had a girl week.  Being a single mom is way easier now that I'm not dealing with diapers and feeding and nap schedules, etc.  We packed lots of fun outings into our girl week.  Besides our nature hike at the arboretum, we went to Passport to India at the art museum.  

We also went to the Earth Fair where we did some crafts and saw some animals.

And we had movie nights at our house and had a great time...until I got sick.  Luckily, Grandma came to the rescue!  She played with the girls while I stayed in bed for a day.  Then I felt better and she went home...and the girls started throwing up.  I spent the end of the week washing everything in our house.  Fun times.  I should have known.  Every time Steve is out of town, someone throws up.  I don't think he has cleaned up vomit since 2012.  Okay, I just made that up.  But has been a long time.

Olive Art

Olive started drawing when she was very young.  Then she stopped being interested for about a year.  Now she is interested again and fills the page any time she has a crayon in her hand.  I call them her Dr. Seuss drawings.
