Christmas 2010

We had another white Christmas!  Although, that was because we were in Chillicothe. Kansas City just got rain.  We spent 5 days in Chillicothe (3 nights with my family, 2 nights with Steve's), which I think was the longest visit since we've been married!  It went by fast.  Hannah really enjoyed it, although she was more pleased with seeing relatives than opening presents.  Last year she was scared of the presents, this year she was just indifferent.  I ended up doing most of the unwrapping.

She mostly wanted to play with her slinky instead of checking out her other presents.

Hannah waited patiently for Uncle Casey to blow up her inflatable soccer ball.  She really likes to play soccer (kick a ball around) with Dada.  But her favorite present from Christmas was a Little People doll house.
Meneely family Christmas:  Grandpa and his three kids are sitting on the bench, their spouses are behind them, and all of the grandkids and great-grandkids are surrounding them.  I think this is first picture with all family members included.
The newest Meneely (really Stapp)...baby Soren!  He is being held by his Aunt Sorrow Lauren.  Hannah was interested in Soren and told us "baby crying" or "baby sleeping", but she preferred to chase after her older 2nd cousins.  She called them "kids".

Over the break, Hannah indulged herself with lots of pumpkin pie and chocolate milk.

Although I didn't take any pictures, we also went to the Hickman family Christmas.  Hannah played with all of her boy 2nd cousins on Steve's side.  Brayden was especially sweet with her and followed her around "in case she falls"- his words. :)  We left for KC at Hannah's naptime on Monday but....

We were back in Chillicothe for 2 more days the next weekend!  This time we went to the Kerr Christmas and Hannah got to play with her cousin Ainslyn.  They are two peas in a pod.  Even though Ainslyn is 1 1/2 years older, they are the same height and weight.   They both like to act silly, run around and scream, and take turns telling each other that their food is "yummy".  Now that Ainslyn is living in Missouri instead of Virginia, we're hoping to get the girls together more often.

I was looking for you to say that Hannah had her first slumber party with her cousin, Ainslyn. They stayed in their own beds in a bedroom all alone and did really well...not too much giggling.
