Last weekend we were on the road again...but not to Chillicothe! We went to St. Louis to visit the McGuire clan: Taco (aka Baby Whisperer), Jane, Kevin III, and Colin. Jane has already blogged about the weekend, but you need to hear both sides of the story. The main weekend events were going to the zoo and a park. The McGuires are under the impression that the St. Louis Zoo is the best zoo on the planet. False. We think Omaha is the best...and they will too once they go. But we all can agree that the St. Louis Zoo is better than the Kansas City Zoo. :) Speaking of falsehoods, they also think Imo's Pizza is the best pizza. False. It isn't even pizza.
However, Steve and I think the park IS the best one on the planet. Hannah immediately started squealing as soon as she saw the equipment. Her favorite thing was playing with the chimes. My favorite was this swinging thing that went around in circles and felt like a roller coaster. Steve "doesn't have favorites".

Imo's is little more than toppings on cardboard. Shakespeare's is where it's at. Too bad there's no zoo in Columbia.
P.S. Why is the KC zoo so bad? STL is infinitely better.
