Labor Day Weekend

We headed to St. Louis right after work on Friday.  Hannah ate, "read" books, played with toys and talked to herself in the back seat.  We stopped to play in a park to wear her out.  It didn't work.  She was a happy traveler, but not a tired one.  She finally went to sleep...ten minutes before we got to the McGuires.
The next morning Hannah was very excited to play with the McGuires' toys.  Her favorite was the train table with the same train she plays with at daycare.  Colin didn't pay much attention to Hannah, but Kevin liked to tickle her and say, "What a cutie!"  I can't wait to remind him of this when he is 13. :)  Hannah was also happy to sit at the "big kids" table.  She is always in a high chair, so it was a new experience.  She only fell off her chair once!
On Saturday Steve and Taco raced in the Francis Park Criterium, part of the Gateway Cup.  It was the first time either one had ever done a race like that.  Steve finished in the middle of the pack.  His comment: "It was fun, but terrifying."  Hannah said "Go, go, go!" and "Bi!" (for bikes) when they went by us.  She lost interest pretty soon, though, and tried to drag me to the playground.  Taco is in the green jersey second from the right.

Steve is third from the right with the yellow helmet.
Sunday we all went to the park and fed the fish.
We drove back Sunday night, and this time Hannah slept for an hour.  Monday we had a picnic in the park and then walked on a trail in the woods.
And now it is back work. :(

The group photo was awesome.
Could all be together or could photo shop and each have a new family photo to share. LOL

I like your hair, Megan! Maybe it's been that way for a while but I just don't see many pictures of you. Either way, it's cute!

It is pretty recent. I got it cut just before school started.
