Day 3 began with Steve going for a run in Central Park. I took a walk...and got lost. However, I finally managed to find the Alice in Wonderland statue that I was looking for.
We went to Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) and it was HUGE and amazing. We like modern art the best and every room had another super famous painting in it. We spent many hours here and still had to skip a floor.
Mondrian!

Pollock!
Then I see a HUGE group of people crowded around a painting. Starry Night! It was like seeing the Mona Lisa. Also like the Mona Lisa, it is much smaller in person than you would think.
Then we went to a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman. The process wasn't as exciting since it was our second time. However, everything was bigger and better this time. The theater was three times as big, the set looked better, and the guests were more famous. Christopher Walken was the main guest and he was unintentionally hilarious. I was bummed that we were seated in the very last row, but it turned out that they did a bit right behind us and we were on TV!
New York Public Library. A chandelier fell in the main reading room just a few days before so it was closed, but we still saw some cool stuff.

The High Line: city park built on an old freight rail line in the meatpacking district. We walked the whole thing. Very cool.
After dinner we did the Empire State building at night. We got the express pass to cut all the lines, which is definitely worth it. Apparently everyone wants to see the city at night.
