Olive Stats- 3 1/2 Years

Olive is now 32 pounds and 40 inches.  Olive loves listening to books.  She even knows how to read a few words!  She knows all the letters and can count to 20.  She is very good at counting objects.  She started drawing people over the summer and she learned to write her name in September.

Unfortunately the "terrible twos" are continuing into the threes.  Olive is one of the most strong-willed kids I've ever met.  She continues to throw tantrums and get very angry when she doesn't get her way.  This fall has been difficult because after a year or doing whatever we wanted, all of a sudden we were back on a schedule when Hannah started kindergarten.  Olive HATES getting ready in the morning and she is also unhappy to be without her favorite playmate.  Apparently I am a poor substitute for a sister.

When she is in a good mood, Olive is very loving and cuddly.  She gives lots of hugs and kisses.   She knows she is cute and she is very friendly with everyone. Almost daily a stranger will tell us she is adorable (sometimes while she is throwing a fit!)  One time she even got into a museum for free because she was "too cute to pay."
