It doesn't take much to make a perfect day. Basically, I just need to be outside with my kids. On a warm Friday (in January!) I invited the kindergarteners to have lunch in the park after school. The girls had a blast playing with friends. I remember when I was teaching I would watch my students playing at recess and wish I could just be with my girls at a park instead. And now I am. I am so lucky to live this life. I know these days are numbered because eventually they will be in school full-time and I will be working full-time, so I'm soaking up my perfect days while I can.
