Bathroom

The bathroom is complete!  It has actually been finished for awhile, I just haven't gotten around to blogging about it.  We painted it over Christmas break and then in early January we bought the shower curtain and towels.  So this is the bathroom that we started working on last last November when I was pregnant.  We didn't work very fast because 1) we had a baby and 2) we have another guest bathroom so it wasn't a huge priority to get this one finished.

We did all the work ourselves (mostly Steve), which included new tiles, new bathtub, new sink, new countertop, new faucets, new towel racks, and new paint (which is basically the same color as the old paint!).  We ran into a few fun surprises like moving all of the plumbing for the bathtub over 1 inch for the new tub.  Also, our counter is not standard depth so we had to cut off the backsplash and make our own with tile.

So now we have painted every room in our house except one (upstairs attic room bathroom), removed wallpaper from 5 rooms, tiled 3 floors, put in 2 countertops, refinished a hardwood floor, knocked out a wall, put up drywall, replaced every light fixture, added new light fixtures, and replaced all cabinet hardware in our house.  I think it might be time to move.  We're running out of things to do.
