Hannah Stats- 16 months

Hannah's new words are "Down, Mom!" when she wants me to put her down or get her out of the high chair.  She also loves to run into rooms and yell "Hi!" to me or Steve.  Although she has been saying "bye" for awhile, now she has added hand waving.  She can identify parts of the face on other people, but she won't on her face.  She also knows sign language for "more" and "please"...and we didn't teach her!  One day Steve said the word "more" in conversation and Hannah stopped what she was doing and did the sign.  We didn't really know what she was doing at first.  Then I figured out she had been to Pat's daycare for one day during the summer and she must have picked it up there.  When she went back to Pat's a few weeks later, Pat taught her the sign for "please" in one day.  It really amazes me how fast she learns things.  The sign language has really come in handy.  She signs "more" for more food, or more tickles, or more swinging, or even more of me singing.
